Customer Services Technician – Brand QCare Ice

We currently have opportunities for 2no. QCare Ice technicians, 1 based in the North and 1 based in the South The Roll – Attending sites across you area on a bi-annual basis to descale and clean ice machines, retrain stores on the daily and weekly cleaning requirements, scoping sites for service requirements, carry out operator parts replacements.

Key Accountabilities

  • To build and protect the QCEL and QCare brands.
  • Meet monthly KPI’s focusing on targets achieved new machine sales and site scoping
  • Supply management with written reports on work stream.
  • Work effectively with the external colleagues and partners, developing new business ideas.
  • Structure time and plan journeys within the region to ensure effective visits within the region.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • A passion for seeking sales opportunities and developing new business.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • High level organisational and time management skills and the ability to pragmatically assess and manage priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal professionally and empathetically with all clients, internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to assess customer demand commercially, alongside cost implications and to negotiate skilfully, and confidently.
  • Probing and enquiring mind in order to be able to explore options and fully and properly develop business opportunities and ideas.
  • Flexible in approach to work
  • Ability to travel

Salary £23-25k per annum plus sales commissions.


Operations Desk Co-Ordinator

We are looking for someone to be part of a friendly operations team with good communication and outlook skills. As there is a lot of communication between customers, subcontractors, suppliersandour own Team members.

Key Accountabilities

  • Logging reactive works and PPM visits onto our system and allocating to engineers.
  • Communicate with engineers prior to them leaving site/s to ensure all information has been captured.
  • Upload works onto customer specific portals.

This position is a multitask position as works would need to be prioritised on customers key equipment failures within the stores.

Hours Monday-Friday 9-5, on call Saturday and Sunday 9-5 on a rota.(On call once full Training has been completedwith an additional payment).

Full training provided.

Start Salary £20,000


Field Service Engineer –Catering

To commission, de-commission and maintain catering and relateditems of equipment, covered by clients contracts with QCEL. Where appropriate, provide end user training andTechnicalsupport as agreed with the client.

Work experience requirements

Field Service Engineers with experience of working in an electrical andgas catering environment, capable of working on your own or as part of a team.

Key Duties

  • Installing customer equipment to their specification
  • To attend fault calls on customer sites in a timely manner as and when required
  • To ensure that all writtenand electronicprocedures are maintained in an orderlymanner and are accessible at all times when required
  • To maintain correct stock levels and records
  • To ensure timely submission of all paperwork
  • To liaise promptly from site should any technical issues arise that may extend the time to perform those duties
  • To maintain regular contact with the companies Help Desk as and when required
  • To be on call on a one in threebasis
